Luxion Appointed to Small Business Sugar Grove - The Waubonsee Community College Board of Trustees appointed Cliff Luxion to the position of full-time small business management/real estate instructor at their board meeting July 19. The appointment is effective Aug. 16, 2006. With extensive experience in the classroom and in his field, Luxion brings a well-rounded knowledge base to Waubonsee. He has taught on an adjunct basis at Elgin Community College since 2003, College of DuPage since 2003 and Waubonsee since 2002. Teaching a broad range of real estate subjects, Luxion has taught classes on real estate transactions, property management, real estate finance and construction management - all subjects that will comprise the majority of his course load at Waubonsee. Outside of the classroom, Luxion was vice president at Wil-Freds Construction; vice president of Lee Consultants; general manager of Aureus Electronics; and has real estate broker experience at Coldwell Banker Primus Realty in Aurora and Trimstone, LLC in East Dundee. Luxion, an Aurora resident, has two associate degrees and three certificates from Waubonsee and a Bachelor of Arts degree in liberal arts and sciences from Governors State University.
