Jewel / Osco

Sugar Grove is pleased to announce that on June 24, 2005, ground was broken for the Jewel - Osco, located in the Sugar Grove Center Development. The Sugar Grove Center is located on Route 47, north east of Galena Boulevard in the Village of Sugar Grove.

The Jewel - Osco is tentatively scheduled to open in March of 2006. The Sugar Grove Village Board has been working with the developers of the Sugar Grove Center, Mr. Nelson and Mr. Nebel of Waterford Real Estate Development Corporation and Albertsons, the parent company of Jewel - Osco, for approximately two years. Waterford Real Estate Development and the Village of Sugar Grove look forward to occupancy of the Jewel - Osco and the additional 13 lots in the Sugar Grove Center.

In 1987 Bob Nelson and Dave Nebel began their venture as Tanglewood Partnership. In 1990 Bob and Dave formed Waterford Homes and began building single family and town home communities in the suburban Chicago area. In 1999 Waterford Homes, changed focus to commercial development and The Waterford Real Estate Development Corporation was formed.
