Planes, Trains and Automobiles are an excellent way to describe Sugar Grove’s transportation resources. Sugar Grove is strategically located just 42 miles west of Chicago and western neighbors of Aurora (Illinois second largest city). State Highways 47, 30 and 56 run through our community, with Interstate 88 on our northern border and the soon to be Prairie Parkway on the western edge of Sugar Grove. Burlington Sante Fe railroad spans from east to west of the community with several rail spur opportunities. The Aurora Municipal Airport (www.auroraairport.com) is located along state highway 30 in Sugar Grove. The friendly airport is home to Luminair, Air Classic Museum, Vision Friendly.com and our newest business JA Air. These are just a few highlights
of the airport:

On site FAA Control Tower
Four runways capable of safely handling all forms of aircraft. This includes a 6,500 foot runway
along with a 5,500 foot crosswind runway suitable for most types of turbine aircraft.
Helicopter service to other regional facilities or corporations.
Rental car and limousine service.

The combination of these transportation assets makes Sugar Grove an attractive, logistical, and popular choice for relocation of new commercial, manufacturing, industrial, distribution and retail interest.

Upon visiting Sugar Grove you will see that our community has several wonderful characteristics and has quite the small town charm. We are proud to be the host of the 2007 NCAA Regional Men’s Golf Championship & 2009 Solheim Cup. These golf events are being held at one the top 50 Private Golf Courses in the United States (Golf Digest) Rich Harvest Farms. We are also honored to be the home of two former NFL players Don Beebe (Buffalo Bills & Green Bay Packers) and
P.J. Fleck (San Francisco 49ers).

We encourage you to visit our community and look forward to speaking, meeting, and working with you in the near future.
